Last week, Mars Music announced that it had filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company announced today that four 30,000-square-foot superstores are being shuttered and sold to the bare walls by Florida-based Stampler Auctions.
Each stores contain about $1 million in inventory, at cost, as well as state-of-the-art retail fixtures and equipment.
The schedule for sale is:
Memphis on Monday, October 7 at 10 a.m.
Somerville (Boston) on Monday, October 14 at 10 a.m.
Southfield (Detroit) on Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m.
Natick (Boston) on Wednesday, October 16 at 10 a.m.
