Peavey Architectural Acoustics ( debuts the FMW12 and FMW15 high-power, two-way wedge loudspeakers with a cabinet design allowing for 30° or 45° floor angles. The new MVP35 two-way loudspeaker from Community ( combines a 15-inch woofer with Community's new LM20 non-metallic, Ferrofluid-cooled HF transducer. Capable of 118dB SPL @ 1 meter, the system has a frequency response of 65-16k Hz, and includes Community's new Thermal-Link Driver Protection System, which automatically adjusts HF output when necessary. Constructed with internally braced MDF board covered in black carpeting, the MVP35 includes a built-in stand socket, recessed handles, corner protectors, a 16-gauge steel grille and ¼-inch input connectors. For flown applications, T-nut mounting points are provided. The MVP35 carries a five-year transferable warranty. Price: $437.25.

JBL Professional ( is now shipping the SB210 indoor/outdoor subwoofer, the latest addition to JBL's extensive line of Control Contractor products. The SB210 has dual 10-inch aluminum-/ceramic-composite cone woofers, for a total power-handling capability of 400 watts continuous (1,600 watts peak). The SB210's bandwidth is 42-200 Hz. A single amp can drive an entire crossed-over subwoofer/satellite system via the optional JBL MTC-210-SAT network. An optional 70-volt or 100V transformer is available. The cabinet has 13 insert points and four feet that lock into other SB210s for stacking. An optional U Bracket allows for wall and ceiling installation. The 43-pound SB210 measures 14×23.3×22.5 inches, features a high-impact, polystyrene cabinet with a weatherproofed, composite-covered grille, and is available in black or white.

Previously available as 4/8-channel versions for the fixed-installation market, Crown International ( now offers its new flagship amplifier line in 2-channel versions. All CTs amps provide a choice of direct constant-voltage outputs (70 or 100 volts) and low-impedance outputs (8 ohms, 4 ohms and, on four models, 2 ohms). A comprehensive array of front panel LEDs clearly indicate channel mode status, channel activation, IQ status, signal strength, thermal protection, clip and fault. A CobraNet digital audio input option is available for the 2-channel CTs models, and Crown plans to include a similar option for the 4-channel CTs 4200 and 8-channel CTs 8200. All 2-channel models are fully PIP2-compatible. Common features include switchable highpass filters (flat, 35 Hz and 70 Hz) for constant-voltage applications, efficient heat sinks and proportional-speed fans.
