Grechaninov: Passion Week is the second of three joint recordings for the Phoenix Bach Choir and Kansas City Chorale, and features the two choirs performing Russian composer Alexander Gretchaninov’s Passion Week. Sung in Church Slavonic, the first literary Slavic language, Grechaninov: Passion Week was produced by Charles Bruffy, the chorale conductor with the Kansas City Chorale and Phoenix Bach Choir, with surround engineering by John Newton (mixing) and Blanton Alspaugh (mastering).
