The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's long partnership with Telarc has resulted in more than 100 recordings and 23 Grammy Awards. Now, conductor Robert Spano, ASO and its Chamber Chorus return to the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams for this new recording on the Telarc label that includes his Serenade to Music, Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Symphony No. 5 in D Major. Since beginning his tenure in Atlanta in 2001, Spano has conducted the orchestra in seven recordings for Telarc, winning three Grammys in the process. The surround project was engineered and mastered by Michael Bishop, with Elaine Martone producing.
