Austrian production company Theatre Productions is currently supporting the European tour of Shaolin & Wudang Kung Fu: The other side of China, employing Allen & Heath’s new iLive digital system and a Meyer Melodie line array as the core of the touring P.A. rig.
The two-hour martial arts spectacle features the classical elements of Wudang Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu with a display of the Tai Chi techniques of the Shaolin and Wudang masters. The tour will visit many venues across Europe, including Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Greece and the UK.
“The system sounds excellent, offers a lot of possibilities and is easy to use,” Theatre Productions’ technical operator Thomas Löffler says during rehearsals in Vienna. ”We are very excited about using these new products and getting to grips with the new digital technology of iLive in an actual touring environment.”
