A-Line Acoustics’ EMMA line source speakers are now available in customized finishes and grilles to match installation and home environments. Ideal for house of worship, theater, nightclub and even home theater applications, EMMA modules come in three sizes (806, 606, 408) that may be combined depending on venue size and coverage requirements.
Each two-way enclosure is loaded with specially matched 6-inch LF drivers and 6-inch HF ribbon drivers for smooth, accurate frequency response and fidelity with 100-degree wide dispersion. Designed matching subwoofer modules with 10-inch proprietary drivers are also available for extended frequency response.
EMMA speakers offer powered and unpowered options, which can be matched, master/slave, to provide hybrid active systems.
In other company news, A-Line Acoustics has upgraded its patent-pending EASY ALIGNMENT (EZAL) hardware for the AL10 line array system. The improved EZAL rigging system is now rated to fly up to 24 enclosures in a curved array and is compatible with the previous EZAL hardware, which was previously rated up to 16.
The system also includes easy reading graphics detailing angle increments from ¼-degree through 2 degrees and ½-degree increments through 5 degrees. The newly reinforced all-steel hardware is integrated into the AL10 box design and features precision laser-cut manufacturing with aircraft-grade set pins so that enclosures can be positioned independently, under load, by one or two people without decoupling. Enclosures can also be rolled out six high and attached to the flyframe or other AL10 enclosures right from the wheelboard.
