Want to go home in a new Land Rover Sport? How about driving a Porsche Carerra for a weekend getaway? Or maybe end the day $10,000 richer? It's all possible at the 13th Annual Mix LA Open, sponsored by Guitar Center Professional!
The 13th Annual Mix L.A. Open, set for Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Malibu Country Club, promises to be bigger and better than ever! Hosted by honorary chairman Ed Cherney, the best ball tournament will have more contests, more prizes and more auction items. Open to any level golfer, the event begins with registration and a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., with the shotgun start at 10 a.m. The awards dinner and silent auction are scheduled for 4 p.m.
Confirmed sponsors/players include Absolute Music, Acme Audio Lab, CE Pickup, Design FX, Full Sail University, Harman Pro, KRK, Lurssen Mastering, Maple Jam Records, the P&E Wing, Record Plant, Sennheiser, Shure, TASCAM, The Document Room, The Pass Studios, Sound Design Corporation and Yamaha Corporation of America.
Proceeds will benefit hearing health and audio education programs, including the House Ear Institute's Sound Partners program and L.A-based Sound Art.
A few sponsorship opportunities and a limited number of player spots are still available, but they’re going fast! For more information go to mixfoundation.org/la_open/la_open.html or call Karen Dunn at 925/939-6149.
