During the month of August, the following notable sessions took place at Avatar Studios in New York City.

Tony Bennett returned to vocals and videotape the sessions for his Latin duets project with Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos and Ana Carolina in Studio A. Dae Bennett produced and engineered the sessions, assisted by Aki Nishimura and Charlie Kramsky.

The Young Presidents were back tracking in Studios A and C with producer/engineer Rob Fraboni, assisted by Bob Mallory and Tyler Hartman.

Jennifer Hudson was in Studio B recording for NBC’s TV Series Smash with producers Marc Shaiman and Harvey Mason, Jr. Engineer Andrew Hey was assisted by Charlie Kramsky.

Bobby McFerrin recorded in Studio B with producers Linda and Gil Goldstein assisted by Charlie Kramsky.

Esperanza Spalding was videotaped for ASPiRE TV in Studio A with producer Nicole Bentley assisted by Aki Nishimura.

In early September, Studio A was used to videotape segments with Matt Damon and Michael Douglas for the recently televised Stand Up To Cancer program. The session was produced by David Wain and Rebecca Sher, who were assisted by Aki Nishimura.
