Potent Orange County punk metal rockers Avenged Sevenfold have completed their third album at L.A.'s renowned Ocean Way Recording Studios. Sessions in Studio B, equipped with a vintage/customized API console, included a 14-piece orchestral string date. The album was produced by Andrew "Mudrock" Murdock, known for his work with such groups as Godsmack, Powerman 5000, Eighteen Visions, and Alice Cooper. The Warner Bros. album, titled City of Evil is slated for early summer release, coinciding with the band's appearance in the nationwide Warped Tour '05.
