Scott Persson

Recording engineer/mixer/sound designer Scott Persson has joined McHale Barone’s commercial music/comedy radio production company in New York City. After drumming for Edge Park, a rock band mentored by Peter Gabriel and recorded in London by Squeeze member Andy Metcalf, and touring Europe opening for No Doubt and Radiohead, Persson discovered a stronger interest behind the mixing board than the drum kit.

After joining N.Y.’s Blast Digital in 1999, Persson’s Pro Tools mixing credits soon included national TV and radio spots for Coca-Cola, America Online and Fisher Price as well as indie film scores. He moved to Headroom Digital Audio’s Studio A in 2002, and most recently served as an engineer at Creative Bubble/Burst, where he mixed broadcast projects for Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central USA and Oxygen.
