Behringer announced the launch of its Studio Condenser Microphone C-3. The C-3 features a pressure-gradient transducer with a shock-mounted, dual-diaphragm capsule. Its two membranes allow for three selectable pickup patterns: cardioid, omni–directional and figure-8. Its low-noise, transformerless FET input is said to eliminate low-frequency distortion. It also includes a gold-plated, 3-pin XLR output connector.
