At Frankfurt Musikmesse 2005, DM Digital Musician will present a new Web-based production tool, Digital Musician Net, a musician community and session musician's yellow pages. It is accompanied by Digital Musician Link, a VST 2–compatible plug-in for PC and Mac music software.
Digital Musician Net offers a variety of tools to contact potential collaborators or quickly search for the right professional for the user’s track. Chat, forums und a private message system enable the user to link up with producers, singers and musicians worldwide. Users may present their projects, personal taste and musical abilities on their own "Artists & Studios" homepage.
The Digital Musician Link establishes an Internet audio and MIDI connection between two VST 2–compatible music software programs. The DML VST plug-in allows you to remote record a music performance in sync with your playback via a standard DSL Internet link.
DM Digital Musician will host an online session for the tool on Thursday, April 7, 2005, and Friday, April 8, 2005, in Room Concept, Hall #4C.
