EdgeSounds has released the Genevoice GM64Pro24, a 64MB, 24-bit quality General MIDI (GM) SoundFont bank. The bank includes 6,436 raw stereo samples with total volume of more than 1.5 GB. An additional 950 samples were edited, looped, balanced and added to the collection.

The EdgeSounds Genevoice GM64Pro24 contains two banks of 128 GM-compatible melodic instruments each (256 total) and 11 XG-compatible drum sets. Users of the new 24-bit capable hardware can enjoy the higher-fidelity sound when playing standard MIDI files, while other 16-bit hardware and software synthesizers will render the Genevoice GM64Pro24 bank in 16-bit quality.
