Electronic Arts, an independent, Redwood City, Calif.-based developer and publisher of interactive game and entertainment software, joins the Blu-ray Disc Association as the newest contributing member.

Electronic Arts is one of two leading game developer and publishers to commit putting its titles on Blu-ray Disc, and Sony has announced that its next-generation gaming platform will be built on Blu-ray.
