Flatts and Carrie Underwood in 2006. Rascal Flatts topped the Nielsen SoundScan list of "Top 10 Selling Artists" and "Top 10 Selling Digital Artists" of 2006. With more than 3.4 million albums sold, the group's latest album, Me And My Gang, also landed at Number Two on SoundScan's "Top 10 Selling Albums" of 2006. Underwood's Some Hearts was third on the "Top 10 Selling Albums" list, reaching Quintuple Platinum status with more than 3 million albums sold in 2006. Underwood also landed in the Number Four spot for "Top 10 Selling Artists" of 2006.

Bob Ludwig of Gateway Mastering scored big, as well, mastering Daniel Powter's single "Bad Day," which topped both the "Top 10 Selling Digital Tracks" of 2006, as well as the "Top 10 Selling Digital Songs" of 2006.
