House of Blues Entertainment and The Seattle Theatre Group have entered into a preliminary agreement that will result in the development of a House of Blues branded venue adjacent to Seattle's historic Paramount Theatre. The premier entertainment space and restaurant, located inside The Paramount Tower, is slated to open in 2007 after a period of renovation that will bring major improvements to the historic structure.
The preliminary planning, design and due diligence process is being initiated and Seattle Theatre Group Executive Director Josh LaBelle anticipates this work effort, along with finalizing a definitive agreement, will conclude early this summer at which time the two organizations will present detailed plans publicly.
In addition, House of Blues Entertainment, Inc. announced that a new House of Blues venue in Houston will become an integral addition to the $200 million Houston Pavilions project, slated to transform three city blocks into a premiere entertainment, retail and urban living hub in 2007.
