IK Multimedia, the worldwide distributor of Sonic Reality’s Refills for Reason, announces that Sonic Reality’s Miroslav Refills Series is now shipping. The Series comprises six new titles ($199 each) and a Miroslav Refill Gold bundle ($699) containing collections of high-end orchestra and choir sounds from the archives of Miroslav Vitous. The collections work only within Propellerhead Software’s Reason 3 and are accessible as plug-ins via custom Combinator modules.

Each Miroslav Refill comes on a DVD and features a variety of performance articulations and special-performance programming for adding a professional symphonic touch to any track in any style of music.

The String Ensembles Refill (pictured) offers 1.79 GB (2.61 GB pre-packed) of 11- and 24-violin sections, violas, celli and basses played in a variety of performance articulations such as legato, staccato, pizzicato, tremolo, sul ponte, spiccato, detache and more. The Solo Strings Refill includes the solo violin, viola, cello and contrabass, with performance articulations such as legato, staccato, pizzicato, tremolo, sul ponte, spiccato, detache.

The Brass Refill delivers 1.47 GB (2.49 GB pre-packed) of solo and ensemble brass featuring trumpets, trombones, French horns, tuba and more. Performance articulations include sustained, portato, staccato, vibrato, muted, looped and non-looped, full duration and orchestral layers. The Woodwinds Refill delivers 1.64 GB (2.45 GB pre-packed) of expressive solo and ensemble woodwinds, such as flute, piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, English horn, bassoon, contrabassoon and more, with performance articulations such as sustained legato, vibrato, flutter, staccato, portato and more.

The Choirs Refill offers 1.27 GB (2.13 GB pre-packed) of classical male and female choirs with performance articulations and individual syllables for expression and tonal variation. The Percussion & Keys Refill offers 1.4 GB (2.44 GB pre-packed) of orchestral percussion instruments, as well as a concert grand piano, cathedral pipe organ and harpsichord. This Refill contains a collection of dynamic single hits and individual percussion elements for complex orchestral layers.

The Miroslav Refill Gold bundle includes all six Miroslav Refills in one box, featuring more than 7 Gigabytes of orchestral and choir sounds, and thousands of patches for the Combinator and NNXT modules inside Reason. It includes all of the material from the original Miroslav Orchestral and Choir collections, plus additional sample material.
