iZ Technology has released Version 3.38 software for its RADAR hard disk recording systems. The upgrade offers 18 new features and more than 140 improvements. The new version promises to simplify the FTP file-transfer process by enabling transfers directly from the Session Controller, allowing users to export, import, backup and restore data from RADAR to a network drive.
The new version also promises faster transfer rates with a RADAR V system or a Gigabit Ethernet upgrade, and to allow users to retain track names across multiple projects. It also offers one-step backup to DVD-R/CD-R for short-term archiving.
Version 3.38 is available as a free download to current V. 3.3x users. The upgrade from V. 3.2x RADAR software is $149.
