JBL’s LSR4300 Control Center software for Mac OS X

JBL Professional has announced LSR4300 Control Center software for the Mac OS X platform, which provides control over all LSR4300 system functions from within Mac-based DAWs. The LSR4300 Series offers networked features for computer users, digital connectivity and a new automated version of JBL Professional’s RMC Room Mode Correction system.

The JBL Professional LSR4326P (powered 6-inch, two-way system; $1,399 per pair) and the LSR4328P (powered 8-inch, two-way system; $1,699 per pair) include the Harman HiQnet network protocol that allows all speakers to be centrally controlled from the mix position by computer or supplied remote control. The new Mac software provides control of volume, input source selection, solo, mute and EQ for all networked speakers, removing the need to purchase an outboard speaker controller. Additionally, LSR4300 Control Center software for the Mac allows the user to create custom EQ presets, store and recall system configurations, and view of the RMC system settings.

The LSR4300’s onboard input switching allows the user to monitor a range of analog and digital playback sources. Each speaker includes high-resolution, 24-bit, 96kHz AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital inputs to interface with computer audio interfaces, playback sources and processors.

JBL LSR4328P and LSR4326P studio monitors are available in pairs that include an accessory kit comprising LSR4300 Control Center software, a calibration microphone, remote control, USB and network cables. Current LSR4300 owners can download Macintosh software from JBL’s Website, www.jblpro.com/LSR.
