Line 6 is now shipping GearBox Plug-In Silver ($384.99) and Gold ($699.99) bundles. For computer-based musicians who record guitar, bass and vocals, GearBox Plug-In bundles offer Line 6 tone from PODxt, and vintage effects in a software plug-in format. Both packages include support for Audio Units and Windows VST plug-ins, and a USB guitar interface with Line 6 ToneDirect monitoring.
GearBox Plug-In bundles include professionally programmed presets. Presets created during the recording process can be moved into other Line 6 products, such as POD XT Live. The Silver bundle provides a handpicked model selection, while the Gold bundle delivers a comprehensive array. Both packages include the TonePort DI USB guitar interface, and are compatible with Mac and Windows recording programs; RTAS support is planned for summer 2007.
The GearBox Plug-In Silver Bundle offers18 guitar amp and 24 cabinet models from PODxt, five bass amp models from Bass PODxt, six vintage and modern mic preamps, and 30 studio and stompbox effects.
GearBox Plug-In Gold Bundle offers 78 guitar amp and 24 cabinet models from PODxt/Vetta II, 28 bass amp and 22 bass cabinet models from Bass PODxt, six vintage and modern mic preamps, and more than 80 studio and stompbox effects.
