Executive producer Kevin Gottlieb of mad.house, a full-service post-production facility in New York City, announced that Scott Ham (pictured) has been promoted from assistant editor to editor. As editor, Ham’s recent projects include a 30-second Verizon spot through the Glover Park Group and a 30-second spot about Froedtert Medical Hospital for Sawyer Miller Advertising.

“Even as mad.house continues to expand, we remain rooted in strong creative editorial,” Gottlieb says. “We hired Scott with the confidence that he would thrive as an artist in our collaborative environment. He’s always been able to calmly manage large workloads with ease, and is a trusted resource when it comes to any technology question.”

Ham’s career began at Billy Williams—later renamed Moondog—handling client services and running packages. He was soon promoted to assistant editor under Billy Senia, and later Billy Williams and Pete Kasko, working on accounts such as American Express, Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren and Neutrogena.

Ham then freelanced at various post-production houses around Manhattan until landing at mad.house, where he’s spent the past two years assisting and cutting alongside co-founder and partner Craig Warnick on projects such as those for Remington, Canon and Fisher-Price.

“Clients have enjoyed his cutting ability, as well as his charm and wit,” adds Gottlieb. “I’m excited about Scott’s future here at mad.house!”
