Nady Systems announced its new TRM-6 tube ribbon microphone, designed for vocal and instrument recording and live sound applications. It offers a figure-8 pickup pattern and features a low-tension, 45mm-long, 2-micron-thick aluminum ribbon design for typical ribbon audio reproduction. The company says that the TRM-6’s integrated 12AX7A tube preamp provides audio at levels that are higher than other ribbon mics, and can be used with all mixer inputs without external preamplification.
The mic is supplied with a zippered vinyl carrying bag, spider shock-mount, foam windscreen, TMPS-6 power supply, 33-foot XLR cable and a foam-padded, lockable aluminum flight case.
