Country singer Christy Clayton (pictured) spent the past few months recording her debut album, Devil’s Paradise, at Odds on Recording in Henderson, Nev. The album is slated for release from Las Vegas–based start-up label Desert Funk in the fall of 2006. In addition to using Odds on Recording’s studio, which is furnished with a SSL XL 9000 K SuperAnalogue console, Clayton will use the company’s CD replication services once recording is completed.

“Odds on Recording provides a world-class studio and high-tech quality that is also amicable with a medium-sized budget,” states Susan Larson, a Clayton spokesperson. “It delivers one-stop shopping through its CD replication services, providing a seamless process from start to finish. Christy is thrilled to be the first artist to take advantage of Odds on Recording’s turnkey service.”

“This top-of-the-line studio is the best and most advanced in the Las Vegas area,” says Greg Stricklin, producer of Devil’s Paradise and former owner of Unsigned Music Network. “By expanding its services with the new console, which integrates analog and digital technology, Odds in Recording offers artists the best of both worlds by providing recording and CD replication under one roof.”
