PreSonus is now including Applied Acoustics Systems' Lounge Lizard and Ultra Analog Session software instruments in its products, starting with the FireStudio, a 26x26 FireWire recording system. Lounge Lizard and Ultra Analog Session are simplified versions of the Lounge Lizard EP-3 electric piano and the Ultra Analog VA-1 virtual analog synthesizer. Both instruments are based on AAS' physical-modeling technology.
The Session Series instruments from AAS will be added to the PreSonus ProPak Complete Software Suite, which ships with the FireStudio recording system. The PreSonus ProPak Complete includes Steinberg Cubase LE; IK Multimedia AmpliTube LE; FXpansion BFD Lite; Sonoma Wire Works RiffWorks; and more than 2 GB of plug-ins, drum loops and samples.
