The RapcoHorizon Company will introduce its new Dominator brand of guitar, microphone and speaker cables at Winter NAMM 2007. The Dominator line is among many new product offerings resulting from a merger between former sister companies Rapco International and Horizon Music Inc.
Offering four individual types of wire, each presenting unique characteristics, the Dominator guitar-cable line provides performers with distinctive variations of sound. The Dominator line includes the Tuned Series of guitar cables, which are manufactured using the four different types of the Dominator wire and can include additional components inside each of the connectors that will "tune" the output of the guitar to the input of an amplifier or effects pedal.
The Dominator microphone cables will be offered using either black Neutrik connectors with gold contacts or standard nickel connectors and contacts, combined with several proprietary RapcoHorizon Company wires.
The Dominator speaker-cable line features several types of heavy-gauge wire, including 14-, 12- and 10-gauge configurations with round commercial jackets and pure copper conductors. The speaker cables are available in a variety of connector combinations to fit nearly every application. Also available is the SilverFlex Series in 12-gauge and 10-gauge sizes with bare, annealed copper conductors that have been silver-plated and "megastranded" for enhanced performance and lower capacitance.
NAMM attendees are invited to visit the RapcoHorizon Company at booth #4558 in Hall C.
