Smart Loops is now shipping its Dry Studio Kit and Percussion Kit loop libraries in multiformat editions, supporting ACID, REX2 and Apple Loops formats on the same CD.
Musicians with ACID, SONAR, Reason, Cubase, Digital Performer, Logic, Soundtrack, GarageBand or other software supporting ACID, REX2, and Apple Loops can use Smart Loops libraries to create professional drum and percussion tracks for their projects.
The Smart Loops Dry Studio Kit CD includes over 300 unique drum loops and individual samples, each in all three formats. The loops have been recorded dry so musicians and producers can add their own effects, and mix the drums the way they want. Individual drum hits are also provided so that users can easily add a drum or cymbal to an existing loop to create a new loop. All Dry Studio Kit loops were performed and recorded by Smart Loops founder and session drummer Frank Basile.
The Smart Loops Percussion Kit CD includes over 370 unique loops and individual samples of percussion instruments, including agogo, bata drums, bongos, canjira, claves, congas, tablas, timbales, and other instruments. All loops and samples are performed by international percussionist Eugie Castrillo (Tito Puente, Steve Winwood, Michael Brecker, Ruben Blades).
The Smart Loops Dry Studio Kit and Percussion Kit Multi-format CDs each list for $69 U.S., and are available through music stores worldwide. For a limited time, both Dry Studio Kit and Percussion Kit CDs can be purchased for $39 U.S. at www.smartloops.com.
