SonicPool, a Hollywood-based post facility, has hired Brett Butler (pictured) as a mixer. In his new post, Butler will mix for television shows, gaming trailers, voice-over recordings and sound design for various other projects.
“Brett Butler is a heavyweight mixer and we are very happy that he’s joined our growing company," say company co-founders/supervising sound mixers Frost and Bird. "His years of expertise are a major asset to SonicPool, and he is already building a following here in Hollywood.”
From 1998 until joining SonicPool, Butler was a mixer with New York City’s Broadway Sound. During that time, he was an exclusive sound mixer for Showtime Networks while also mixing for Comedy Central, the Food Network, Nickelodeon, the USA Network and the SciFi Channel.
