SoundTech’s LightSnake USB ($69.99) is 10-foot-long shielded cable with a standard 1/4-inch plug on one end and a USB 2 connector on the other. The LightSnake USB includes an embedded A/D converter and signal booster, and can be used with electric guitar, bass, keyboard or other electronic instrument. It includes a 1/4-inch-to-mini adaptor and 1/4-inch male-to-dual 1/4-inch female splitter.
The LightSnake USB is compatible with Win98 SE/ME/2000/XP and Mac OS 9/X without an additional driver. Driver software for older computers is included.
