More than 50 members of the Los Angeles recording community gathered at Hollywood’s Acapulco Restaurant May 17 for a Society of Professional Recording Services (SPARS) meet-and-greet luncheon sponsored by Solid State Logic and All Media Capital.
The upbeat event drew a diverse crowd of recording studio owners and managers, facility designers, engineers, equipment rental personnel and other industry service providers. In a brief discussion, All Media Capital’s Jeff Thomas provided information on the current much-improved state of the equipment financing industry, and SSL Vice President Phil Wagner presented an overview of both the key features and recent facility installations of SSL’s newest digital console, the C200.
