Juno Award–winning Canadian rockers Sum 41 recently settled in at Ocean Way Recording Studios to record tracks for their upcoming 2007 Island Records album, as yet untitled. The band used the spacious Studio B, which is often chosen for its powerful drum sound. The console in Studio B is an Ocean Way custom-built API.

Sessions were produced by the band's lead singer, Deryck Whibley. While Sum 41 sessions were underway in Studio B, Avril Lavigne was mixing tracks for her upcoming album in Studio D, which is equipped with a Neve 88R console. The new film, Eragon, features Lavigne's "Keep Holding On," which is now on radio and available on iTunes.
