This Month in Mix

New Orleans band The Subdudes chose Threshold Mastering in Los Angeles to complete their latest album, Behind the Levee with Stephen Marsh, Threshold’s director of mastering. The album, produced by Keb’ Mo’ and featuring the engineering talents of Mark Johnson, was recorded in Louisiana just prior to the Hurricane Katrina disaster. The album is available is from Back Porch/Virgin Records.

Composer Mark Isham came to Threshold Mastering to complete a score album for the film Running Scared, directed by Wayne Kramer. The album will be available from New Line Records and features 22 original Isham compositions from the film. Also for New Line, Marsh recently mastered the score album for The Wedding Crashers with Rolfe Kent. The pair last teamed to master the score album for the film Sideways.
