The SD-220 DA

TV One is now shipping its new high-performance SDI-to-analog converter and analog-to-SDI converter (models SD-220DA and SD-210AD), an 8-bit SDI-to-analog converter (model 1T-SDI-V) and a 1x8 SDI distribution amplifier (model SD-108M).

Designed expressly for broadcast and professional applications, TV One's SD-220DA SDI-to-analog converter offers 10-bit SDI to analog conversion with re-clocking and equalization of the input signal at distances of up to nearly 1,000 feet from the source.

Providing NTSC, NTSC-J, PAL, or PAL-N output, the device is capable of managing 525 or 625 line signals, and is controlled via buttons found on its front panel and an LCD display. Component video output is menu-selectable as either RGB or YUV in SMPTE or Betacam formats, while an integral video processor facilitates adjustment of parameters including luminance, chrominance, setup, hue and sharpness. Housed in a metal desktop case, the unit is optionally offered as a rackmount assembly.

A multi-standard analog video-to-SDI converter, the SD-210AD incorporates 12-bit A/D converters providing 10-bit video decoding. Accepting NTSC, PAL-B, G, N, M, and SECAM inputs, the unit handles 525 or 625 line signals. Component video (YUV) input is menu-selectable in either SMPTE or Betacam formats. Just like the SD-220DA, front panel controls and an LCD display are used to govern the actions of an integral video processor providing adjustment for luminance, chrominance, setup, hue, and sharpness. A desktop metal case comes standard with each unit once again, and a rackmount assembly is offered optionally.

Part of TV One's One-Task line, the 1T-SDI-V SDI-to-analog converter handles 525 or 625 line signals and provides NTSC, PAL, PAL-N, and PAL-M output. Front panel dip switches facilitate selection of the output standard; a composite and S-Video output are included as well.

Last among the new SDI products to join the TV One catalog is the SD-108M SDI distribution amplifier. Capable of automatically detecting inputs of 143, 177, 270, and 360 Mbits/sec, the device provides eight outputs with re-clocking and equalization.
