Wireworks Corporation introduces the DT12 Audio Cabling System, comprising the DT12 sports broadcast breakout box, trunks and tails. Designed for rigorous sports applications, the DT12 is recommended for broadcast trucks, where space is often limited, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor sporting events such as basketball, golf and football.

The DT12’s welded steel breakout boxes are one-quarter the size of traditional stageboxes. Wireworks’ slim in-line DT12 breakout box is 3 inches square—virtually the same size as the connectors themselves—and engineered to withstand the rigors of being dragged across a stadium or field. The breakout box also features male and female DT12 connectors with cover caps. Recessed Neutrik XLR black/gold connectors and dual-sided channel identification allow for use in any orientation.

Wireworks’ DT12 trunks are manufactured with full-sized 22 AWG conductors, promising lower signal loss, especially in long-run cables commonly required in remote sporting environments. Engineered with Euro-designed cable clamp and strain relief for added durability, all cables are 100-percent shielded to prevent electrical interference and crosstalk. DT12 fan outs are available in 4- or 8-foot lengths.

All XLR connector contacts are gold-plated to prevent oxidation in outdoor use, and all connector shields are metal to assure strength and longevity.
