Professional audio and music products distributor American Music & Sound (AM&S) has added Lee Carpenter to its staff as product specialist for live sound and contracting applications.
Carpenter, who has been in the pro audio and video industry for more than 10 years, joins AM&S from Media Visions Inc., where he was chief audio engineer. His responsibilities there included design and installation of professional audio and video systems for permanent installation, corporate events and concert tours. While at Media Visions, he provided video production for clients such as Brooks and Dunn, LeAnn Rimes, Lynrd Skynrd and Juanes, and was the chief video engineer for the MTV Hotel during the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2005.
