FTR, Celestion’s next generation of cast-aluminum chassis professional loudspeakers, is now shipping to dealers worldwide. FTR has already shipped 1,000 units in the first full quarter of 2005.
These drivers feature innovations in magnet and chassis design and voice coil material, minimizing distortion and thermal compression to increase performance, power handling and sound quality.
FTR loudspeakers feature low thermal compression, low distortion and high power. Now available are FTR15-4080F (featuring a 15-inch chassis with 4-inch voice coil, 600W RMS, 8-ohm impedance, 97dB sensitivity, 40 to 1.5k Hz frequency range and 110-ounce ceramic magnet for $350); FTR15-4080FD (featuring a 15-inch chassis with 4-inch voice coil, 1,000W RMS, 8-ohm impedance, 97dB sensitivity, 30 to 1.5k Hz frequency range and 110-ounce ceramic magnet for $395); FTR18-4080F, (featuring an 18-inch chassis with 4-inch voice coil, 600W RMS, 8-ohm impedance, 97dB sensitivity, 30 to 1.2k Hz frequency range and 110-ounce ceramic magnet for $395); and FTR18-4080FD (featuring an 18-inch chassis with 4-inch voice coil, 1,000W RMS, 8-ohm impedance, 97dB sensitivity, 30 to 1.2k Hz frequency range and 110-ounce ceramic magnet for $475).
