Rock group Cream, which electrified the music world in the ’60s with its powerful playing and inventive musicianship, is reuniting for four concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 2, 3, 5, and 6, 2005. In support of these landmark performances, JBL’s VerTec loudspeakers have been chosen for use in the concert sound system.
Paul Bente, president of JBL Consumer Products, noted, “JBL is extremely proud to be an important part of the upcoming Cream concerts, which are among the most anticipated in the history of rock music. Cream and JBL share a similar commitment to excellence: Cream as a group of gifted artists who take creative improvisation and musical passion to extraordinary heights, and JBL as the foremost supplier of high-quality loudspeakers for concert halls, recording studios, movie theaters and home listening. We look forward to bringing the Royal Albert Hall audiences an absolutely thrilling and unforgettable concert experience.”
