Inter-M Americas’ new PX-0288 audio matrix mixer allows local audio sources to be routed in any combination to eight zones using either local or remote control. Built for use in multi-zone systems like those found in hotels, airports, casinos, hospitals, conference centers and restaurants, the flexible device receives ancillary support from a pair of dedicated remote controls and a remote microphone station.

Up to eight local music sources can be received by the PX-0288 at one time, while local and remote paging capabilities are provided with priority override. Using the monitor speaker built-in to its front panel, operators can eavesdrop on any of the eight inputs at will. Other front panel features include an input channel selector switch, input selection display, remote mic station level control, paging mic level control and selector switches for individual and all-zone paging.

Joining a phantom power switch on the rear panel are remote-control and remote mic station connectors, a paging mic input level control, provisions for treble, bass and gain control, and balanced line-level outputs. PGM input jacks are also supplied to facilitate line-level sources such as tape decks, CD players and tuners.

Two remote controls are optional; additional features found on the LM-88 include remote audio source stereo inputs with their own gain control and a remote microphone input with its own gain control.
