Microboards Technology recently announced that the second generation of its CopyWriter Live recorder/duplicator began shipping in July. The product joins the company’s line of CD/DVD duplicators and printers. CopyWriter Live was designed to give churches and other organizations the ability to record events with VCR-like ease. The new CopyWriter Live includes level monitoring and a headphone jack, as well as a more robust design and higher-quality disc recorders.
Microboards will launch the product at the same price point as its first-generation product, with a list price of $799.
CopyWriter Live features the ability to seamlessly record live audio for longer than the typical 70 to 80 minutes by automatically spanning from disc to disc. Users can record to either of the onboard recorders or play back, or play from one and record to the other.
The CopyWriter Live will have a one-year warranty. For more information, please visit www.microboards.com. For more new sound reinforcement product announcements, visit mixonline.com/livesound/products.
