Italian singer and songwriter Antonello Venditti recently embarked on a nationwide tour with a Meyer Sound MILO high-power curvilinear array loudspeaker system supplied by rental company RMS of Nocera Inferiore.
Venditti's tour to promote his new album, Campus Live, takes him to 17 arenas, which RMS will cover with a system comprising arrays of 12 MILO cabinets, augmented by six M3D subdirectional subwoofers on each side of the stage.
Mauro LaFicara, in charge of the audio department at RMS, commented, "We have both MILO and M3D systems in hous, and believe them to be the best line arrays on the market at the moment. The former was chosen as the ideal solution for 4,000- to 5,000-seat indoor sports arenas, which is the type of venue Venditti is playing on this tour. The decision was made because, as well as ensuring extremely clean, precise acoustic performance in this type of application, the MILO systems are also very easy to handle and rig, an indispensable factor when choosing a touring system."
