Behringer released the UltraLink UL2000M ($249.99) UHF wireless microphone/receiver set, which gives users the option to choose from 320 transmission frequencies, allowing for simultaneous operation of up to 20 systems.

The system features a well-designed user interface with a comprehensive LCD screen, the company's proprietary Scan function for transmitter frequencies and a cardioid condenser capsule with exceptionally smooth and broad frequency response.

The UltraLink UL200M also sports a high-performance compander for superior dynamic range, an optimal signal-to-noise ratio and an extended bass frequency range for ultrawide signal transmission. The receiver offers a switch-mode power supply with interchangeable AC plugs (100 to 240 volts). A separate rackmount is available.

In other company news, the EuroPower PMH518M compact, rackmountable powered mixer is now available. This latest mixer uses the company's ULN ultralow-noise technology for highest possible headroom and transparent audio, boasts a low self-noise of less than -80dB A-weighted through the mixer. Amp distortion (THD+N) is 0.001/0.0008-percent A-weighted. The 5-channel mixer comprises five mic/line channels and separate 2-track I/O channels, with mic preamps featuring switchable pad and clip LEDs, 2-band EQ on all channels and a 7-band graphic EQ for frequency correction. Speaker outputs on 1/4-inch jack and professional speaker connectors are compatible with Neutrik Speakon loudspeaker connectors, pumping out 180W @ 4 ohms.

Audio can be sent through the integrated 24-bit effects processor, which comes with 100 presets, including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch-shifter and other multi-effects. The FBQ Feedback Detection System reveals critical frequencies for easy feedback control.
