Future Sonics Inc. appointed Daniel East as its new director of worldwide marketing and artist relations. East served as the on-staff consultant and director of marketing/U.S. for more than eight years and will now implement new strategies, programs and product development as part of his responsibilities.
East has a unique perspective as someone who has worked in professional audio for more than 20 years as a front-of-house engineer, monitor engineer, tour manager and as a touring musician.
East's own consulting firm had offered marketing, promotion and production consulting for the music industry after his decision to discontinue extended touring in 1998.
