Neutrik’s HD Series Chassis Connectors are sealed male XLR chassis connectors based on the MPR Series. The connectors feature stainless-steel shells and gold contacts, and achieve IP65 protection, providing water, dirt and dust-resistant connection when used in combination with the HD Series cable connectors.
The new HD line is completed with the 3, 4 and 5-pole XLR HD-Series Cable Connectors, available in male and female versions.
Neutrik also unveiled Silent Plug (pictured), which can be used to switch an instrument, such as electric guitar, under load without creating the pops or squeals associated with plugging and unplugging a cable from an instrument or amplifier jack.
A ¼-inch mono plug that fits into any ¼-inch stereo or mono jack, the Silent Plug features gold-plated contacts, red coating, chuck-type cable retention and the integrated “Silent Switch,” which is hermetically sealed and, due to its “REED technology”–based design, offers lifetime durability.
