To provide more opportunities for professionals with C-SI or C-EST designations and participants in the Certificate of Completion Program (CCP) to accumulate Learning Units (LUs), NSCA is developing partnerships with manufacturers and other industry training providers. Already, the NSCA Partner Program has signed three participants shortly after its launch. The Syn-Aud-Con seminars were the first to receive NSCA Partner Provider status, followed by courses from Brawn Consulting and Extron Electronics.
Courses that are eligible for NSCA Partner Provider status include manufacturer training, in-house training, community college courses, association education beyond NSCA and independent provider training. According to Brad Nelson, chair of the NSCA Education Committee, “The Partner Provider program is a way that the NSCA can recognize excellence in education, foster industry-wide training, build on the already outstanding foundation of the University and promote high-quality resources to a wider range of potential attendees."
Those interested in becoming an NSCA Partner Provider should visit www.nsca.org/LUProvider and download a Partner Provider Application.
