Peavey has made its PR Series enclosures lighter and more efficient by upgrading to neodymium magnets. The PR Series now ranges from 47 pounds on the powered PR 15P ($499.99, pictured) to 20 pounds on the PR 10 ($189.99).

The PR Series uses a 1.4-inch RX14* titanium diaphragm with high-frequency tweeter protection and 1-inch exit for crisp, clear highs, as well as a 2 3/8-inch voice coil woofer, a heavy-duty crossover for reliable operation at higher power levels and a constant directivity horn with consistent sound distribution. Powered PR Series models are bi-amplified with 270W peak dynamic output, three input channels with level controls, and built-in DDT anti-clipping speaker protection.

The new PR Series enclosure with neodymium magnets will be available in Q1 2006 from authorized Peavey retailers. For more information, visit www.peavey.com.
