In addition to relaunching its company Website, www.radianaudio.com. Radian Audio Engineering announces two latest additions to its professional and contractor series: the RPH Series of two-way controlled directivity horn-loaded enclosures and the RC Series of small-format ceiling speaker systems.
The new RPH offers two-way operation with a 15-inch woofer with 4-inch voice coil and a 2-inch exit compression driver with two choices of horn pattern. The RPH Series and RCH Series features Radian's proprietary alloy/Mylar composite diaphragms and compression drivers, and incorporates hand-laid Fiberglas horns and long-throw woofers with passive or bi-amp operation.
Power handling for all RPH/RCH models is 1,200W continuous/2,400W peak power input via NL-4 connectors. Enclosures are constructed using 13-ply void-free Baltic Birch plywood with integral 3/8-inch fly points—16 on each enclosure—and fit all standard ATM flyware brackets. The sides of the enclosures are cut at exacting angles to allow seamless arrayability with minimal comb filtering. The RPH-1594 offers 90x40-degree coverage; the RPH-1564 (pictured) provides 60x40-degree coverage.
Radian Audio's new Integrator RC Series full-range, small-format ceiling speakers are available in three sizes. Three models—the 6.5-inch RC-161, 5.25-inch RC-151 and 4-inch RC-141—offer quick and easy installation and combine low cost and high performance in a complete ceiling speaker system.
The RC-161 is a 6.5-inch coaxial driver with injection-molded PP cone with butyl rubber surround and silk-dome HF driver. Power handling is 60W RMS/120W program power. The RC-161 features a polar response of 120 degrees (±3 dB), with four-position 30W transformers for 70/100V operation, plus full transformer bypass mode.
Available accessories include fire-rated steel back cans with tuned port enclosures and quick mount tabs, integral cable clamp/strain relief and seismic tabs. Included in each pair of speakers is the TB6 tile bridge assembly for use in existing drop and acoustic ceilings where a T-bar mounting is needed.
The 5.25-inch RC-151 and 4-inch RC-141 feature wool/composite cones with butyl rubber surrounds and Mylar dome tweeters. Four position transformer taps, seismic tabs and cable clamps round out the package. Both enclosures are fully fire rated and feature a tuned port enclosure with quick mount tabs and include tile bridge assemblies.
