PGF Integrations, Texas-based systems integrators for projection and sound equipment, installed multiple SLS loudspeakers in the 1,000-seat sanctuary of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church in Katy, Texas. The new sound system will be used during worship services, youth group meetings and community events.
“We were really impressed by the performance of the SLS speakers and the ease of the overall installation,” says Bryan Brazemore, president and CEO of PGF Integrations. “We selected them because of their unbelievable sound, positioning capabilities and light weight.”
Brazemore installed several RLA/3s, a single 18-inch US118SW sub and an 112RT, a full-range, bi-amped, 12-inch, two-way design that serves as a multipurpose box and offers high SPL at very low distortion.
“Because structural reconstruction was not an option, we had to choose a sound system that would work best with the existing space,” says Brazemore. “We were able to discreetly rig the SLS speakers so that the aesthetic structures were not blocked, while still allowing for equal distribution of sound throughout the worship center.”
