New Dutch talent Jan Smit is rehearsing for his headlining summer tour with an array of equipment from Electro-Voice, Midas and Klark Teknik. Smit recently won the Dutch Edison Award for Best Singer 2006.
Dutch Telex Pro Audio Group distributors Electric Audio recently delivered a huge audio package to Purmerend, Holland–based rental company Triple Showtechniek, including 18 E-V XLC 127+ line array boxes with eight X-subs, driven by E-V CP2200, CP3000S and CP4000S amplifiers. Four QRx-153 boxes driven by CP2200 and CP3000S amps will handle infill duties. Audio management and dynamics control is via several Klark Teknik DN-9848 Ethernet processors and Square One Dynamic units. A Midas Heritage H-2000 48 TP console is at FOH, and a Midas Heritage H-3000 48 TP will handle monitors.
