The MB-X6 tuner base is a multichannel wireless system management option for bands, live theater, corporate A/V, schools and houses of worship. This single-rackspace tuner frame provides slots for up to six plug-in tuner units (WRU-806B or URX-M1).

The MB-X6 tuner base unit also features auto channel assignment function, whereby each tuner sequentially searches selected group for free channel, as well as two passive antennas.

The Sony MB-X6 is planned to be available in March at a suggested list price of $850.
