After spending too many audio events inside hotel ballrooms, Mix magazine is thrilled to be partnering with Soundcheck Nashville to host the premiere edition of Mix Nashville. Soundcheck, the largest all-in rehearsal facility east of the Mississippi, boasts eight full-blown rehearsal spaces and has catered to the likes of Kenny Chesney, Kings of Leon, the Raconteurs, John Fogerty, Los Lonely Boys, Keith Urban, Donna Summer, Dierks Bentley and countless others over its 14 years in business.

Four rooms in the original bulilding, ranging from 40x80 to 80x100, all contain Meyer Sound self-powered systems, with consoles including Yamaha, Digidesign and Digico. A brand-new building across the parking lot opened on February 15 and expanded the operation by four more rooms, again with Meyer Sound systems, one Peavey VersArray and a host of consoles.

Soundcheck Nashville is also home to a cartage company, crew company, backline services and just about anything necessary to put an act on the road. Within the complex at 750 Cowan Street, just across the Jefferson Street bridge, are Fender, Meyer Sound, Digico, Digidesign, Shure and many other regional and artist relation offices. There is also storage, backline, Backstage custom cases, Ed Beaver guitar repair, Pro Hammond B-3 repair, Stage Call trucking, Moo TV video production, Tour Supply, Tyler Truss systems, Crew One and Uplight lighting. All that’s missing is the bus.

Join Mix and Soundcheck as we celebrate the best of studio and live production, Nashville-style.
