Version 4 software for the C100 HDS digital broadcast console include C-Play, which integrates a professional audio playout system into the console surface, delivering integrated recall of playlists with console projects. Version 4 includes integration with Mosart Medialab Newscast Automation and adds to existing support for Sony ELC and Ross Overdrive. Full-duplex connectivity with Reidel RockNet Audio Networks (including remote preamp control and compatibility with its Independent Gain System) expands compatibility with installed audio networks. "Audio Follow Video" capabilities are also enhanced with independently programmable ramp on/off fade times.

Version 4 introduces Loop Redundancy mode for the SSL MORSE Stagebox and the new Alpha-Link Live-R MADI I/O unit. The new Alpha-Link Live-R unit adds a set of redundant MADI optical-fiber connections to the existing Alpha-Link Live console I/O unit. The new Loop Redundancy mode reduces the number of cables required for redundant fiber-system installation and doubles the amount of audio signals that can be passed between the C10/C100 and the modular B-RIO I/O Unit.

Version 4 also brings several surround production additions. The 5.1 flown system adds user-adjustable individual Center, Rear (Ls and Rs) and LFE gain setting, an overall stereo output level trim and a new M-3/M-6 mono folddown option. A new 5.1 BLITS Tone Ident generator routes to all 5.1-format PGM, ASG, Channel and Utility buses.

Version 4 Software for C100 HDS is due for release in June 2011.

X-Panda is a versatile, new 24-channel compact SuperAnalogueâ„¢ mixer aimed at project studio owners. As a stand-alone product, it serves as a high-quality 24-input mixer that can be used for tracking (with external mic pre's) or master mix summing. With an SSL X-Desk, X-Panda introduces 24 additional channels, which, via the "X-Desk Link" connection, feed directly into the X-Desk master bus, cue and aux send/return system. With an X-Rack summing system fitted with a Master Module, X-Panda adds faders and additional inputs to create a versatile mixer. X-Panda can also be used with any other mixer to expand available channel count.

X-Panda provides eight mono channels (each with main and alt inputs, giving 16 mono inputs) and four stereo channels, giving a total of 24 channels at mix down. All channels feature an input level trim with a center detente at unity gain; tri-color signal-indicator LEDs; phase invert; an insert; and a direct channel output (which can be switched post-fader). Each channel has a Stereo Cue section with dedicated Level and Pan controls. Each channel features independent FX1 and FX2 send level controls (globally switched pre/post-ader). Self-illuminated heavy-duty Solo and Cut buttons, Pan/Balance controls and precision 100mm faders complete the channel strip.

X-Panda features a stereo mix bus, stereo cue bus and solo bus. When linked to an X-Desk using the "X-Desk Link" connection, the X-Panda mix bus and stereo cue bus feed into the respective buses on the X-Desk. The Solo systems are also linked so that soloing any channel mutes all other channels on all linked units. Similarly, when an X-Panda is linked to an X-Desk with a Master Module fitted, the mix, cue and solo buses are also linked.

When used as a stand-alone product, the X-Panda main mix bus and FX buses are set to sum at unity gain, allowing it to act as a summing mixer without the need for Master Level controls.

X-Panda is available from June 2011.
